JuJu’s Story
Hi I’m Raquel (AKA JuJu). I am the creator of JuJu Botanicals - i continuously find joy in making Natural spa and skin care products.
The power of nature has always inspired me and I appreciate the wholesome goodness that comes from it. I live on 1 ½ acres of land on the outskirts of Houston, Texas where we tend a garden that grows an abundance of the botanicals I include in my products.
I am currently enrolled in a Master Herbalist Course through the Centre of Excellence and am also studying Naturopathic Philosophy (which is the study of the body, mind, and spirit).
I started creating my own skincare products in 2012 because I wanted a more natural and holistic approach to skincare. I better understood what I was applying to my skin and decided to create skincare without harsh ingredients. JuJu Botanicals came into being to expand and share my skincare knowledge by offering products made from ingredients that are gentle and nourishing.

The quality provided by our products is not to be underestimated because of the simplicity of the ingredients. I handcraft with attention to detail and desire to share with you the same that I make for myself and my family.
the ingredients in Juju Botanical’s products are natural and toxic free. Most of the botanicals in products are grown in our garden. no harsh chemicals are used in our gardens. to name a few of the botanicals from our garden: Rose buds, Rosemary, Calendula, Loofah, Roselle Hibiscus, Butterfly Pea, Lavender, Elderberries, mint, and Lemongrass. The use of some of these botanicals are to infuse oils or to add natural color to a product.
…and now I’m on a mission to reduce store bought skin care products and replace them with holistic yet high quality alternatives.
